Hanif arrives at Disability Employment Australia on the back of seven years of experience in the criminal justice system and with a tertiary background in Law and Arts.
His career with the Department of Justice and Community Safety began as a case manager for offenders on corrections orders and prisoners on parole before he transitioned into the courtroom as a prosecutor for Corrections Victoria.
Fuelled by a passion to influence positive outcomes at a systemic level for the often-disadvantaged Corrections Victoria clients, Hanif discovered his love for learning and development. In the years that followed, equipped with his Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment, Hanif worked in a variety of L&D roles that involved the design and facilitation of training courses, management of learning programs and professional development strategy.
Hanif most recently worked as a Professional Development Manager at the Department of Justice & Community Safety, with a particular focus on learning management system integration, training evaluation, and growing relationships with key training partners.
