Inclusive Employment in the Screen and Media Sector

Bus Stop Films is a groundbreaking social enterprise which has disrupted disability employment across film, TV and commercial production and advertising since 2009. This session will unpack the impact of disability employment on both sides of the camera and showcase how Bus Stop Employment is making inroads in one of the most exclusive industries to work in, which is also one of the most impactful sectors for social change. Hear from CEO Tracey Corbin-Matchett OAM, on how Bus Stop Employment is building confidence in the sector to employ people with disability while building a talent pipeline for productions to connect to. Also, in this session, we will hear from Bus Stop Employment member, Jackson Hughes, who will share his experience working in the industry, including on the hit show, The Assembly with Leigh Sales.
