The Australian economy in 2024, labour market movements, trends and indicators for disability employment

In this session, Callam Pickering, APAC Chief Economist from Indeed.com will discuss the current state of the Australian economy and potential impacts of Government policy on the labour market including the recently announced Federal Budget. Callam will discuss some of key issues impacting on the economy and the effect on groups including people with disability and expected rates of participation and labour market volatility. Callam will also discuss the current Australian CPI and the impact of higher interest rates for longer. Finally, Callam will potential changes in the Australian economy and the impact of a likely Federal election in the next 12 months.
