We welcome back Brett de Hoedt to guide our conference in his trademark calm and self-effacing manner.A natural networker, in between conferences this native Melburnian stays in touch with all federal ministers previously responsible for our sector.  Sadly, over the years, this has grown into a fulltime job, leaving him little opportunity to work on his marketing agency Hootville Communications.

One recent positive for Hootville – landing the media training contracts for Coles CEO Brad Banducci and Optus boss Kelly Bayer Rosmarin. Brett also scored a sweet gig as an Ethics Consultant to the Seven Network. Nice work if you can get it huh?

Our emcee wants you to know that he was scheduled for long-awaited life-saving elective surgery today but instead he’s here with you.  Is this true? Who cares? He’s been making claims like that since he started emceeing our conference in 2006.
