Charlotte began work with ACT Down Syndrome & Intellectual Disability in March 2020.

Charlotte is a passionate advocate for open employment for people with disability and has spoken to the United Nations. In 2022 she was awarded a Commendation for the Young Canberra Citizen of the Year Award and was the winner for the ACT Chief Minister’s Inclusion Award – Emerging Young Leader. In 2024 she was a finalist for the ACT Young Australian of the Year. Charlotte has continued to advocate for meaningful employment for people with disability and has no plans on stopping anytime soon.
