Garry Simpson is the Chief Operating Officer of the Ability Roundtable and is responsible for Australia’s largest disability sector benchmarking program that provides an independent, confidential and trusted platform to benchmark financial, operational and outcome-based performance.
As a by industry, for industry body, Ability Roundtable uses high quality data and insights to support organisations to improve service outcomes and make business decisions more confidently. Ability Roundtable combines data with their highly regarded communities of practice model to help identify and leverage best practices approaches and innovations.

Ability Roundtable’s membership represents more than $9.3billion in combined revenue across five benchmarking groups, including Supported Employment. Drawing on its Ability Roundtable platform and experience, it is uniquely placed to offer an Inclusive Employment Australia (IEA) benchmarking program in 2026.

Garry brings a wealth of knowledge and experience across the NDIS and disability services system with three years at Ability Roundtable and 16 years working within the public service and Government, including the NDIA and as a senior policy adviser to Government.
