A Disability Dialogue about Inclusion within Providers

Presenters

Kelly Treloar

Kelly Treloar

Director, Disability Dialogue at DANA

Based on Kaurna Country, Kelly Treloar (she/her) is a neurodivergent and physically disabled policy and advocacy specialist with lived experience in the First Nations and LGBTQIASB+ disability communities. As Director of the Disability Dialogue at DANA, she national work built on what should be an unremarkable idea: that disabled people define and drive change. Kelly’s work is grounded in the UNCRPD and a long commitment to tackling intersectional discrimination and centring marginalised voices in policy and decision-making. She is a parent, a unionist, and enjoys music, travel, and enthusiastically annoying people by talking far too much about birds and politics.

John Gibbons

John Gibbons

CEO, The Personnel Group

John Gibbons is the CEO of The Personnel Group, a not-for-profit that delivers employment, health, training, and community services across more than 100 communities nationally. He has led the organisation since 2022.

As CEO, John is focused on wraparound, person-centred service: connecting TPG’s services so that people are supported as whole individuals rather than passed between programs. His priority is making sure those services are delivered well, that decisions are made for the right reasons, and that the people TPG works with are treated with respect.

The Personnel Group has grown over more than three decades into a multi-brand organisation, but its purpose has stayed the same: equity and inclusion for the people and communities it works with.
